What does GapCrafts mean?

GapCrafts is a reference that me and maybe 3 other people in the world might understand. Way back when there were a lot of zeros in the year, my first ever email address was gapcats at dead domain dot com. GAP is my initials, and I like cats. Gap Crafts sounds kinda like Gap Cats. It makes sense. 

Another reason I made up just now is that I have been unemployed a lot lately and crafting is what I do in my gap time. 

Why did you make (product)?

I wanted to. If I make a sale, yay! If not, shrug emoji. 

What do you use to cross stitch?

My cross stitch and embroidery supplies are mostly gathered from thrift stores and estate sales. The majority of my flosses are not labeled by color or manufacturer, so any cross stitch patterns sold are my best guess at a DMC equivalent floss. I think all my aida is 14 count. My philosophy with cross stitch (and all crafts for that matter) is to have fun with it! Rules when it comes to crafting are often inconsequential and flexible. 

What are your tech specs?

For digital art I mainly use ProCreate and a first gen Apple Pencil on a 9.7 inch, 2016 model iPad Pro. For certain things like curved text, I use the paid version of Bazaart on an iPhone SE.  For computery things I use a 15-inch mid-2014 MacBook Pro. My computer is my longest relationship besides my psychiatrist, and the day it stops accepting updates I will cry. Airdrop is my best friend.
